| I used to play in a live online poker game at a website called Inter Casino Poker. Believe it or not, I actually won a jackpot there that was given to those that get a royal flush! Their rules, at the time when I won, said I would receive $1,000. Unfortunately, they changed the rules after I won the jackpot and said a larger prize would be split between me and the other players that got a royal flush during that month. I wasn't real happy about the change of rules after the fact and decided not to play there anymore. In all fairness, they did send me $600 for the jackpot and they also sent me money anytime I won at the tables before I stopped playing.
 Since then, I haven't had much time to find another online poker game that's worth playing in. The good news is I was recently invited to play at EmpirePoker.com because they want me to try their poker room and post a detailed review here at All Vegas Guide. You may be familiar with EmpirePoker.com already because they sponsored the 2003 World Pool Championship and they also sponsored professional golfer Greg Owen in miscellaneous PGA Tour Tournaments.
I haven't had a chance to play yet, but I have done some research and I've seen nothing but positive feedback about their service. They offer free online poker and the normal assortment of poker games for real money including Texas Hold'em, Omaha Holdem High, Omaha Hold em High Low Split, Seven Card Stud, 7 Card Stud High/Low Split and they have live poker tournaments every day of the week.
During peak hours, they have as many as 25,000 players online in their poker rooms, so it shouldn't be hard to find a game! I'll post a more detailed review once I set up my account and give it a try.
